The Libraries Department is authorized to provide a materials consulting, search, and duplication service on the basis of a price list for the reimbursement of the specific expenses incurred for each request, but not for profit, not to private users, but only to the following parties: MINISTRIES, PUBLIC AND CULTURAL INSTITUTIONS, FOUNDATIONS, NON- PROFIT ASSOCIATIONS AND INSTITUTIONS, TRADE UNIONS, PROFESSIONAL ASSOCIATIONS, SCHOOLS, UNIVERSITIES. The material supplied is that of non-repeatable utility (therefore not including films and serials) of which Rai has full ownership of rights, and is supplied in digital, low bit rate format (ISO DVD) with a technological protection so that it cannot be reused for commercial purposes. The Rai Libraries 'Customer Service' will provide, to whoever so requests, the details concerning costs (the rates are particularly advantageous for schools and universities), the processing time, the procedures for access to the company's premises for consultation of the catalogues, and all necessary information and explanations. The Libraries Department produces promotional film clips using archive material under the supervision of compiling operators and directors Marcella Mosseddu, Daniela Piccioni, and Silvana Palumbieri: these include our live channels.
